Job summary

Ingham County Health Department seeks a licensed behavioral health clinician to provide integrated mental health services within a primary care setting. Under the supervision of Medical Director, you will assess, diagnose and treat social and emotional needs of patients across ages, delivering evidence-based counseling and crisis intervention.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Social Work with LMSW/LLMSW or LPC eligibility.
• One year of professional behavioral health experience.
• Basic Life Support certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Delivers behavioral/mental health care to patients of all ages.
• Assesses, diagnoses, treats, manages, evaluates and monitors acute and chronic mental illnesses.
• Assists patient/families in coping with medical and psychosocial illnesses and prognoses.
• Develops individualized treatment plans with measurable goals and collab with care teams.
