Job summary

Mercy Clinic Primary Care - Waterview Park in OKC is hiring for Medical Assistant, LPN, or EMT/Paramedic positions. The role involves preparing patients for visits, performing essential vital signs, reviewing histories, and assisting with on-site testing and vaccinations.

You will document in Epic, support care gaps, and coordinate follow-up as needed. A strong preference is given to those with clinical experience in primary care settings and BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Certification: CMA/CCMA/RMA or EMT/Paramedic certification accepted.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient for visit by entering chief complaint, taking vital signs, reviewing history and allergies, reconciling meds, and documenting in Epic.
• Assists with in-office testing including drawing blood, mental status exams, EKGs, oxygen studies and point-of-care testing.
• Administers vaccines and injections within scope of practice.
• Schedules follow-up appointments per office policy.
• Collaborates with providers and clinical care team to monitor and coordinate care.
