Job summary

Mercy Clinic Primary Care - Resource Pool in the OKC metro is seeking Medical Assistants, LPNs, or EMT/Paramedics for full-time roles. The position floats among primary care clinics, providing flexible coverage across the system.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with a 40-hour workweek. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and either MA certification (RMA/CCMA/CMA) or EMT/Paramedic, plus BLS within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Active Medical Assistant certification (RMA/CCMA/CMA) or EMT/Paramedic is accepted. Must obtain BLS within 90 days of hire.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for visit with provider by taking vital signs, recording chief complaint, reviewing history and allergies, and completing medication reconciliation.
• Assist with in-office testing (blood draws, EKGs, mental status exams, etc.) and with point-of-care testing as needed.
• Administer vaccines and injections within scope of practice.
• Schedule follow-up appointments per office policy and coordinate care with the clinical team.
• Collaborate with providers and care team to monitor and implement the care plan.

Education
