Job summary

Mercy in Oklahoma City is seeking a Primary Care Medical Assistant who will work directly with Mercy Primary Care Providers to deliver patient-centered care in a team-based environment. You will partner with patients, providers, and other care team members to support safe and timely care.

Preferred candidates will have a high school diploma, graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program, and about one year of relevant experience; attendance at the MA Clinic Academy training is required

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program
• 1 year of patient care or medical office experience

Under the direction of the primary care operations team, the Primary Care Patient Care MA works directly with Mercy Primary Care Providers to provide safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, patient-centered care in a systematic way. The Primary Care Patient Care MA will partner with patients, providers, and other members of the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes for all patients. Duties and responsibilities will be performed in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Position Details:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Education Preferred: Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program

Experience Preferred: One year of applicable patient care experience or applicable medical office experience as defined by the clinic

New hire must attend MA Clinic Academy training
