Mercy Clinic Primary Care - Northwest Expressway in Moore, OK is hiring for Medical Assistant, LPN, or EMT/Paramedic to join a full-time team (40 hours/week) with Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm schedules. The role involves preparing patients, taking vital signs, reviewing history, reconciling medications, and closing care gaps in Epic.

In-office testing, vaccines, follow-up scheduling, and care-plan coordination are part of the duties.

Formación

• HS diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred 6 months of clinical healthcare experience in primary care.
• Active CMA/RMA/CCMA certification or EMT/Paramedic accepted for MA track.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare patient for visit by completing rooming tasks and entering chief complaint.
• Take vital signs and review patient history and allergies.
• Perform medication reconciliation and close care gaps in the chart.
• Assist with in-office testing (EKG, blood draw, point-of-care tests).
• Administer vaccines and other injections within scope.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate with the care team.

Educación

Position Details:

Mercy Clinic Primary Care - Northwest Expressway

Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Overview:

• Prepares patient for visit with provider by completing Advanced Standard room process including entering the chief complaint; taking patient vital signs; reviewing patient history and allergies; completing a thorough medication reconciliation; working the Encounter Guide including helping to close any open care gaps such as fall risk, depression screening, breast cancer screening, colorectal cancer screening, and diabetic eye exams; rechecking elevated blood pressures; and completing needed documentation in Epic for yearly preventative visits as needed.
• Assists with any needed in-office testing including, but not limited to, drawing blood, completing mental status exams, EKG’s, walking oxygen studies and point of care testing.
• Administer vaccines and other injections within scope of practice.
• Schedules follow up appointments when needed per office policy.
• Collaborates with providers and clinical care team to monitor and coordinate delivery of the care plan.

Medical Assistant Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Certification: Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Preferred Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office.
• Certified Medical Assistant
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Certification: Must have active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA) or EMT/Paramedic is also accepted. Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

LPN Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Licensure: Active LPN license in the state of practice.
• Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience preferred, particularly in a primary care office.
