Mercy Clinic Primary Care - Northwest Expressway in Oklahoma City is hiring Medical Assistant, LPN, or EMT/Paramedic for a full-time, 40-hour week (Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm).

You will prepare patients for visits, assist with in-office testing, administer vaccines, schedule follow-ups, and collaborate with the care team, with Mercy supporting your ongoing training and benefits.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Active CMA/RMA/CCMA or EMT/Paramedic accepted; BLS within 90 days.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares patient for visit by documenting chief complaint, vital signs, history and allergies; performs medication reconciliation; completes documentation in Epic for annual visits.
• Assists with in-office testing (blood draws, EKGs, mental status exams, oxygen studies, point of care testing).
• Administers vaccines and injections within scope of practice.
• Schedules follow-up appointments and coordinates care with providers.
• Collaborates with the care team to monitor and adjust the care plan.

Educación

Certification: Active LPN/RMA/CCMA/CMA or EMT/Paramedic accepted

Position Details:

Mercy Clinic Primary Care - Northwest Expressway

Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Accepting applications for MA, LPN, or EMT/Paramedic!

Overview:

• Prepares patient for visit with provider by completing Advanced Standard room process including entering the chief complaint; taking patient vital signs; reviewing patient history and allergies; completing a thorough medication reconciliation; working the Encounter Guide including helping to close any open care gaps such as fall risk, depression screening, breast cancer screening, colorectal cancer screening, and diabetic eye exams; rechecking elevated blood pressures; and completing needed documentation in Epic for yearly preventative visits as needed.
• Assists with any needed in-office testing including, but not limited to, drawing blood, completing mental status exams, EKG’s, walking oxygen studies and point of care testing.
• Administer vaccines and other injections within scope of practice.
• Schedules follow up appointments when needed per office policy.
• Collaborates with providers and clinical care team to monitor and coordinate delivery of the care plan.

Medical Assistant Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant:
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Certification: Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Preferred Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office.
• Certified Medical Assistant:
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Certification: Must have active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA) or EMT/Paramedic is also accepted. Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

LPN Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Licensure: Active LPN license in the state of practice.
• Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience preferred, particularly in a primary care office.
