MUSC Health Primary Care – Elgin is seeking a compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing primary care team. Qualifications

• APN: Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or PA required.
• Current South Carolina licensure or eligibility for licensure.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• DEA and appropriate state prescribing credentials before start date.
• Family medicine or primary care experience preferred.
• Passion for delivering patient-centered, evidence-based care.
• Commitment to quality improvement, teamwork, and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services for patients across the lifespan.
• Perform preventive health assessments, annual wellness visits, and chronic disease management.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive histories and physical examinations.
• Order, interpret, and utilize laboratory and diagnostic testing to guide treatment plans.
• Provide patient education focused on preventive care and healthy lifestyle management.
• Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Document and bill for direct patient care services.
