MUSC Health Primary Care - Elgin is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing primary care team. You will provide comprehensive, relationship-centered care across the lifespan in a community-based setting, with access to the resources of a leading academic health system.

Qualifications

• Advanced Practice Provider: Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
• Current South Carolina licensure or eligibility for licensure
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• DEA and applicable state prescribing credentials prior to start date
• Family medicine or primary care experience preferred
• Passion for delivering patient-centered, evidence-based care
• Commitment to quality improvement, teamwork, and clinical excellence

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services for patients across the lifespan
• Perform preventive health assessments, annual wellness visits, and chronic disease management
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
• Conduct comprehensive histories and physical examinations
• Order, interpret, and utilize laboratory and diagnostic testing to guide treatment plans
• Provide patient education focused on preventive care and healthy lifestyle management
• Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare professionals as needed
• Document and bill for direct patient care services
