Sutter West Bay Medical Group seeks an APC Service Line Lead for Primary Care to provide strategic and operational leadership across the APC workforce. The role includes supervision of APC practice, coordination with physician leadership, and advancing a high-performing Advanced Practice model within the Primary Care service line.

The position requires current NP/PA credentials, 3+ years APC experience, and a track record of leadership, collaboration, and performance excellence.

Qualifications

• Current NP or PA employed full-time within the service line and in good standing.
• Minimum of three (3) years of APC clinical experience.
• Consistently meets performance expectations.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with physicians, APCs, operational leaders, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated interest in leadership, professional development, and practice improvement.
• Ability to balance clinical and administrative responsibilities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead APC workforce planning and strategic priorities across the Primary Care service line.
• Recruit, onboard, and retain APCs; support performance management and professional development.
• Provide day-to-day professional leadership and support for APCs within the service line.
• Collaborate with operational leadership on recruitment, onboarding, retention, and succession planning.
• Promote APC engagement, accountability, and adherence to organizational standards.
