Job summary
Piedmont Healthcare, Inc. invites an Advanced Practice Practitioner to join the Primary Care outpatient team. The full-time role operates Monday through Friday in an outpatient setting, collaborating with multiple IM providers to support PCP patients.
Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years of experience as a PA or NP, with a Master's or Bachelor's from an accredited PA program and National Board Certification, or Georgia-licensed NP with national certification.
Qualifications
- 2+ years experience as Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
- Masters or Bachelor's from an accredited PA program with National Board Certification.
- Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP in Georgia with National Certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical services to individuals, families, and/or groups.
- Emphasize health promotion as well as acute and chronic disease management.
- Augment a physician's ability to provide medical services to patients.
- Document data, conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order labs and consultations, and provide direct patient care.
