Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Nurse Practitioner for travel assignments in healthcare facilities across Florida. The NP will provide health care services within their license, perform exams, assessments, and prescribe medications while educating patients and families on conditions and treatments.

Minimum requirements include an active NP license in the state, national certification preferred (AANP/ANCC), and CPR.

Qualifications

• Current NP license in the practicing state.

• State-required specialty certification if applicable.
• One year NP experience preferred.
• Maintain required collaboration agreements.
• Current CPR certification.
• TB test/PPD or chest X-ray as applicable.
• Health certificate per contract/state.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Nurse Practitioner provides health care services to patients within scope of license, performs physical examinations and diagnostic tests, assessments and screenings, prescribes medications, and instructs patients and family members on medical conditions and treatment. Additionally, the Nurse Practitioner may have an area of specialty practice.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Nurse Practitioner Certification and license in the state of practice required

• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner by a nationally accredited nursing organization (e.g. American Academy of Nurse Practitioners - AANP, American Nurses Credentialing Center - ANCC) is preferred

• Specialty Certification as per client request and or state regulations if applicable

• One year experience as an NP preferred

• Maintain collaboration agreements, per state requirements

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
