Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold current NP certification and license in state of practice.
• RN license in state of practice required.
• Specialty certification as per client/state regulations if applicable.
• One year NP experience preferred.
• Maintain collaboration agreements per state requirements.
• Complies with professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Nurse Practitioner provides medical care services and treatment to patients of all ages within scope of license, in collaboration with a physician as required by law. The Nurse Practitioner collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to collect and document patient data, performs physical examinations, diagnostic and therapeutic tests and procedures, assessments and screenings, prescribes medications and treatments, orders and schedules laboratory and diagnostic studies to provide evidence based care and comprehensive services including direct patient care. Additionally, the Nurse Practitioner may have an area of specialty practice.

Minimum Requirements

• Current Nurse Practitioner Certification and license in the state of practice required
• RN license in the state of practice required
• Specialty Certification as per client request and or state regulations if applicable
• One (1) year experience as an NP preferred
• Maintain collaboration agreements, per state requirements
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
