Job summary

The coordinator will manage daily operations, communications, events, and partnerships across the university. The role includes budgets oversight, program logistics, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to sustain a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1–3 years of related experience.
  • Experience in higher education or student services.
  • Budget handling and Banner familiarity.
  • Strong digital communications and social media skills.
  • Highly organized with ability to multi-task.
  • Genuine service orientation and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

  • Open and manage the Pride Center lounge daily, greet visitors, and respond to inquiries about programs, services, and opportunities.
  • Provide administrative support: correspondence, scheduling meetings, inventory, work orders, and vendor coordination.
  • Support LGBTQ+ programs: logistics, contracts, catering, room reservations, reimbursements, and hiring processes for student staff.
  • Track Pride Center budgets, process payments, and monitor budgets.
  • Lead Pride Center communications: weekly newsletter, website, social media, flyers and promotional materials.
  • Build partnerships campus-wide and contribute to Inclusive Excellence and Belonging initiatives and events.
