Photoroom in Paris is seeking a Senior backend engineer to own the pricing system for all apps. You will help deliver Product Growth initiatives and pricing architecture while collaborating with frontend and backend teams.

You will own end-to-end delivery, monitor performance, and scale pricing for millions of users across iOS, Android, Web, and API, using Django, PostgreSQL, and modern SaaS tooling. This hybrid role includes a competitive equity package with BSPCE and relocation support for

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development with Django and Django Rest Framework.
• Experience designing scalable relational databases and migrations.
• Experience with SaaS scaling and subscription management (Stripe, RevenueCat).
• Hands-on with PostgreSQL/MySQL databases larger than 100 GB.
• Designing endpoints in collaboration with frontend engineers; OpenAPI/docs.
• Pragmatic with a focus on fast iteration and ownership of decisions.
• Fluent in English; French not required.

Responsibilities

• Own the pricing system architecture and backend for all apps (iOS, Android, Web, API).
