Job summary

Progressive is seeking a pricing supervisor or associate manager in a remote role. You will partner with leadership across Product Management/R&D/Control to influence rate changes for Commercial Auto, while guiding analysts and shaping the pricing strategy.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and delivering data-driven rate improvements in a nationwide, remote setting.

Qualifications

• Six years analytical property casualty insurance experience.
• Bachelor's degree or higher with emphasis in Finance, Math, Accounting or related field and three years P&C experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee rate design implementations and state product design.
• Analyze rate level indications and the rate revision process.
• Develop analysts on the team and mentor for growth.
• Collaborate with leadership across Product Management/R&D/Control.

As a pricing supervisor or associate manager, within the Commercial Lines Pricing organization, you'll partner with leadership across Product Management/R&D/Control, and make recommendations that directly impact rates in our industry-leading Commercial Auto business. You'll oversee implementations to state product design, rate level indication analysis, and our rate revision process. You’ll play an important role in developing the analysts on your team while influencing others across Commercial Lines.

This is a remote position.

Minimum qualifications

• A minimum of six years analytical property casualty insurance experience or related professional experience (e.g., analytical work in a professional setting)
• {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher with an emphasis in Finance, Mathematics, Accounting or related field of study (e.g., Economics, Statistics) and a minimum of three years property casualty insurance experience or related professional experience (e.g., analytical work in a professional setting)

• Pricing and/or product experience.
• Prior leadership/mentorship experience including excellent business acumen and ability to see big picture.

Compensation

• $81,400 - $108,500/year
• Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
