Job summary

Labcorp in Indianapolis, Indiana is seeking an Assay Pricing Strategy Intern to support the Core Automated Testing and Immunology Team. The 11-week paid internship runs June 1, 2027 to August 13, 2027, with relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.

You will collaborate across labs, procurement, finance and development to optimize pricing and support strategic initiatives. The role targets students pursuing a BS/MS in biology, life sciences or analytics.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
• 3+ months experience with Microsoft Excel and data analysis coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with laboratory scientists, procurement, finance and commercial development to evaluate pricing models.
• Analyze historical assay pricing data, reagent costs, and workflows to identify pricing opportunities.
• Support development of updated pricing frameworks reflecting current processes and costs.
• Document assumptions, methodologies, and recommendations for pricing standardization.
• Prepare reports and analyses for leadership communication.
• Contribute to initiatives improving operational efficiency and cost transparency.
