Job summary

Saint-Gobain, a leader in building products, seeks a Pricing Specialist to manage pricing programs, rebates, and credits. You will support regional sales through pricing administration, program maintenance, and issue resolution, acting as a liaison among customers, Sales, Finance, and Management.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 3+ years pricing/data analysis experience, with strong analytics and ERP/BI tool familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field with 1+ years of pricing experience.
• Alternatively, 3+ years in pricing, data analysis, customer service, or sales support.
• Strong analytical thinking and sound judgment to resolve pricing issues.
• Experience with SAP, Pricefx, Power BI, QlikView or similar BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Validate claims and perform analysis using Pricefx, SAP, Power BI, QlikView, Excel.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between customer claims and payouts.
• Process ad hoc credit requests with necessary approvals and docs.
• Respond to inquiries on pricing, rebates, invoices, and sales programs.
• Collaborate with Sales to document and administer rebate programs.
• Process new customer account requests and updates.

Job description

As part of the CertainTeed Roofing Products Pricing Team, the Pricing Specialist is responsible for the review, management, administration, and execution of customer pricing programs, rebates, credits, and pricing-related customer support activities. This position ensures accurate and timely processing of pricing transactions while minimizing downstream adjustments and disputes.

The role supports regional sales efforts through pricing administration and maintenance, customer account maintenance, program management, and issue resolution. The Pricing Specialist serves as a key liaison between customers, Sales, Customer Master, Finance, and Management.

Responsibilities include:

• Validate claims and perform analysis using systems such as Pricefx, SAP, Power BI, QlikView, Excel, and other reporting tools
• Investigate, analyze, and resolve discrepancies between customer-submitted claims and CertainTeed-calculated payouts
• Process ad hoc credit requests with appropriate approvals and supporting documentation.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding pricing, rebates, invoice disputes, and sales support programs.
• Collaborate with Sales to ensure customer rebate and incentive programs are properly documented and administered.
• Process new customer account requests and updates.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field and 1+ years of relevant experience; or
• Equivalent combination of education and a minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in pricing, data analysis, customer service, sales support, accounting, or related business functions.
• Strong analytical thinking and sound judgment to independently evaluate and resolve complex pricing and customer issues.
• Experience with SAP, Pricefx, Power BI, QlikView, or similar ERP and business intelligence tools.
• Experience working with large customer accounts and high-volume transactions.
• Comfortable working in a high-volume, performance-driven environment.
• Ability to manage complex customer relationships and pricing programs.
