Stater Bros. Markets is seeking a Pricing Specialist I to support price governance, execution, and management. You will contribute to pricing strategy alignment and help optimize customer value perception through data-informed pricing practices.

The role involves cross-functional collaboration with analytics, promotions, and category teams to ensure accurate pricing across in-store and online channels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
• Experience in Retail, Pricing, Promo Planning, Data Integrity, Merchandising, Procurement, or related field preferred.
• Functional capability in all Microsoft applications; Excel skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in execution of accurate and efficient pricing activities including Signs & Tags, Ad and POS execution, Pricing Optimization, and Vendor Relationship Management.
• Provide pricing support for advertising materials.
• Collaborate with Data Integrity, Promotion and Category Management Teams to ensure cohesive value proposition representation.
• Prevent unauthorized or erroneous pricing; resolve pricing errors.
• Support in-store and online competitive price checks using field-based and digital tools.
• Collaborate with Analytics teams to leverage insights for traffic-driving, basket-building, and value-based pricing strategies.
