Job summary

Park Place Technologies is seeking a Pricing Specialist I for a hybrid, full-time role based in the United States. You will support the sales team through quotes for data center warranty services, configuring, pricing, costing, and loading quotes while coordinating with multiple internal groups.

The position requires strong Excel skills, sharp numerical ability, and excellent communication to produce accurate, timely quotes. Occasional long hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables, conditional formatting, advanced formulas).
• Strong numeric skills; ability to calculate discounts, proportions, and percentages.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking; ability to gather and analyze information.
• Excellent written and spoken communication; able to read and interpret SOPs.
• Willingness to work long hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Generate well-developed, accurate, and clearly formatted quote proposals.
• Meet department quote volume and quality standards while adhering to turnaround expectations.
• Research pricing information including list/contract pricing, equipment specs, configurations, and international pricing.
• Input accurate pricing records with rationale and discount details.
• Understand IT equipment and data center configurations to price effectively.
• Interpret equipment scripts to extract configuration data for various product types.
• Attend meetings and stay current on impacts to job and team.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Sales Ops, Presales, Product Management, Sales, Finance, Operations.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis.
• Note: specialization by relationship type or revenue type may be assigned.
