Job summary

ShopRite - Scanning Clerk (Saker NJ) is seeking a motivated associate to deliver excellent customer service while maintaining accurate pricing across the store. You will handle weekly price changes, maintain pricing files, and ensure compliance with QA and safety standards.

Located at ShopRite of Bayville, Bayville, NJ, the role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and the ability to work varied shifts with good attendance.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and understand English clearly.
• Able to perform basic arithmetic and manage pricing tasks.
• Able to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Must stand, bend, twist and work in varying temperatures.
• Must operate a computer keyboard and basic calculator.
• Able to interact with customers in a friendly manner and work with others.
• Must reliably follow schedules and attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Accurately complete weekly price changes and fix discrepancies.
• Maintain pricing file accuracy matching weekly ads.
• Maintain UPL tags and ensure pricing integrity on floor.
• Keep work area clean, safe and organized.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Adhere to health, safety, and QA standards; comply with rules.
