Job summary

Phoenix International is seeking an experienced Pricing Analyst to drive winning pricing strategies for import and export shipments. The role partners with Operations and Sales to optimize resource allocation and capitalize on new business opportunities.

You will analyze market changes, price effectively, and build strong relationships with agents and carriers worldwide to secure competitive rates and service levels. Strong Excel and CargoWise skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in international freight forwarder environments is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills related to logistics and pricing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Price and quote import/export ocean and air shipments.
• Use pricing tools, databases, and processes effectively.
• Analyze market conditions to develop pricing strategies.
• Collaborate with branches and offices to improve win ratios.
• Handle multiple pricing requests simultaneously.
• Learn and use various pricing tools available.
• Respond to pricing requests from overseas offices, agents, and teams.
• Build relationships with agents, carriers, and network to win opportunities.
• Develop a carrier base for best service and rates globally.
• Solicit feedback to maximize win percentage, and report progress to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
