CarMax is seeking a data scientist to develop pricing models, improve existing models, and drive value from data across our pricing efforts. The role emphasizes building predictive models, validating experiments, and presenting insights to senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Strong modeling skills and a desire to grow those skills.
• Solid foundations in math, CS, and ML.

Responsibilities

• Develop new models and improve existing models using feature engineering and ML techniques.
• Help CarMax develop its data expertise by researching innovations and best practices.
• Communicate model workings clearly to team members at both high and detailed levels.
