Job summary

Wolseley Infrastructure in Chesterfield is seeking a Pricing Margin Analyst for a hybrid, full-time role. You will help improve pricing control, protect margins and provide clear commercial insight to branches, external sales teams and leadership for informed pricing decisions.

Key duties include identifying pricing leakage, margin inconsistency and commercial opportunities across customers, frameworks, projects, branches, regions and product categories, while supporting a disciplined pricing

Qualifications

• Experience analysing pricing, margins and commercial performance.
• Experience influencing pricing decisions and identifying opportunities to improve profitability.
• Previous experience within a pricing, commercial analyst or margin-focused role would be highly preferable.

As a Pricing Margin Analyst based in Chesterfield/Hybrid, you'll be responsible for:

• Improving pricing control, protect margin and provide clear commercial insight that enables branches, external sales teams and leadership to make informed pricing decisions.
• Identifying pricing leakage, margin inconsistency and commercial opportunities across customers, frameworks, projects, branches, regions and product categories.
• Supporting the development of a disciplined pricing culture through governance, analysis, reporting and actionable recommendations that improve profitability and commercial performance.

This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday. This role offers the flexibility of hybrid working, with 1-2 days per week working remotely.

• Experience analysing pricing, margins and commercial performance.
• Experience influencing pricing decisions and identifying opportunities to improve profitability.
• Previous experience within a pricing, commercial analyst or margin-focused role would be highly preferable.
• Strong IT skills, Excel, Word, Outlook etc.
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Confidence to challenge where necessary.
