Position Summary

The Pricing Manager will be a key member of the Firm’s Client Value Team, focusing on delivering value through innovative alternative fee arrangements, process improvements, and team leadership. The role involves working closely with senior management and attorneys to support pricing strategies, RFP responses, and market trend analysis, including the use of AI and technology.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Create innovative pricing models and recommend options for panel pitches and matters.
  2. Lead negotiations on pricing arrangements to maximize revenue and client satisfaction.
  3. Assess current firm pricing capabilities and develop proposals for efficiency improvements.
  4. Participate in client meetings to discuss pricing and value offerings.
  5. Present to partners and fee-earners to raise awareness of pricing capabilities.
  6. Manage and mentor the pricing team, including Analysts and Interns.
  7. Coordinate with legal project management and IT teams to enhance tools and processes.
  8. Identify opportunities for analytical and operational enhancements.
  9. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance.
  • Experience in accounting, pricing, financial analysis, or legal support roles, preferably within a law or professional services firm.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and legal financial software; experience with Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
  • Leadership ability to supervise and delegate effectively.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
Additional Information

The role requires working in the office at least 3 days per week, with occasional overtime and travel. Compensation varies by location, with ranges provided for different offices.
