Job summary

Cracker Barrel is seeking a Financial Analyst at the Store Support Center in Lebanon, TN to translate business strategy into robust financial planning and analyses, focusing on pricing, store tiering and elasticity across departments.

You will publish FP&A reports for senior management, use Excel and database tools to manipulate data, and provide analytical insights to improve decisions. A Bachelor's in Accounting, Business or Finance and 0-2 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or Finance required.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent oral, written, presentation and time-management skills.
• Proficient computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (with strong emphasis on Excel and database skills).
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Solid mathematical skills and a very logical approach to problem solving.
• Knowledge of financial analyses, budgeting/planning and forecasting concepts and processes.
• Knowledge of restaurant and/or retail industry, operations and trends.
• Project management skills and/or cross-departmental teamwork experience.

Responsibilities

• Translate business strategy into FP&A for pricing, store tiering, price architecture, and elasticity measurements.
• Coordinate and communicate planning analyses with Menu Strategy and Marketing departments for efficient processes.
• Research, publish, and maintain FP&A reports for senior management.
• Understand and utilize current system applications to analyze and model data; provide value-creating insights.
• Provide leadership and development within the department; complete ad hoc analyses and reports as requested.
