Job Purpose

The Pricing Data Entry Specialist is responsible for accurate and timely entry, maintenance, and auditing of retail chain pricing information across all assigned accounts. This position supports the Chain Sales team by ensuring pricing, promotions, discounts, allowances, and product information are correctly entered into company systems and communicated effectively to internal stakeholders. The position plays a critical role in maintaining data integrity, supporting customer relationships, and ensuring pricing compliance across all chain retail partners.

Nature and Scope

This position works closely with Chain Sales Managers, Sales Operations, Accounting, Customer Service, and Distribution personnel to ensure retail pricing information is accurate and current. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Errors in pricing data can directly impact profitability, customer satisfaction, and company compliance.

Knowledge and Experience

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Data Management, or related field preferred.
• Two (2) years of data entry, pricing administration, sales support, accounting, or administrative experience preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and pricing software preferred.

General Job Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain customer and retail chain pricing information.
• Process price changes, promotional pricing, rebates, discounts, and allowances.
• Audit pricing data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain documentation supporting pricing agreements and changes.
• Coordinate pricing implementation with Chain Sales Managers.
• Communicate pricing updates to internal stakeholders.
• Prepare pricing and promotional reports as requested.
• Support new item setup and product launches.
• Investigate and resolve pricing discrepancies.
• Assist with annual pricing reviews and customer contract administration.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
