Job summary

Global Partners is seeking a Staff Data Scientist to lead demand forecasting and pricing science within the Central Data and Analytics Organization. You will own modeling, evaluation, and production readiness, delivering probabilistic forecasts for daily pricing decisions.

You will mentor others, define AI evaluation standards, build scalable workflows, and collaborate with ML engineering to deploy models. Strong Python/SQL and cloud tools are required; experience with SageMaker and Snowflake is

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry data science or machine learning experience with ownership of production models.
• Deep expertise in demand forecasting and price response modeling, including probabilistic output.
• Experience designing and analyzing field experiments with power analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own demand and price response modeling end to end from problem framing to production.
• Deliver probabilistic forecasts for daily and intraday pricing use.
• Define model evaluation criteria and promotion to production.
• Mentor data scientists and present technical work to leadership.
