Job summary

Momentum is seeking a Pricing Specialist to work with the Sales and Operations teams to develop timely pricing and capacity strategies for RFPs, projects and spot opportunities. You will build relationships with Landstar-approved carriers and use market data to aid customer responses and improve margins.

You will maintain pricing templates and dashboards, coordinate with carriers, and support the Operations team with accurate quotes and service expectations in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or a related field is a plus.
• 2–5 years dispatch operations experience preferred.
• Experience in truckload carrier development or carrier sales is required.
• Must be fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate with transportation providers to secure optimal rates and service levels.
• Maintain strong relationships with carriers to ensure capacity and pricing feedback align.
• Communicate effectively with carriers, clients and internal operations teams.
• Prioritize pricing workload to impact timely service and performance.
• Utilize pricing tools and data to manage RFPs and quotes.
• Provide Operations with pricing and service expectations for new carriers.
• Construct and maintain pricing templates and dashboards for Ops review.
