Job summary

L3Harris Technologies seeks a Senior Associate, Finance in Nashville to lead estimating and bid pricing for the ForceX Division, coordinating with business development, sales, and contract management.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, 2+ years of relevant experience, strong Excel, knowledge of FAR and pricing tools like ProPricer, and the ability to present financials to senior management. Onsite, 9/80 schedule; security clearance possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or Graduate Degree with min 1 year of related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
• Experience in strategic pricing, price and cost modeling, financial planning and analysis, general accounting, revenue & cost forecasts, and budget management.
• Experience in contract pricing, program/project management, contract administration and international procurement/payment terms.
• Demonstrated experience with financial presentations to senior management.
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to concisely translate to management the key financial issues/impact.
• Self-starter with strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to implement new initiatives, build consensus, and enable change.
• Ideal candidate would be adaptable and quick to learn and possess the ability to work in a team environment.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
• Experience with ProPricer or other similar pricing tools.

Responsibilities

• Act as a contributor on a cross functional team in support of proposal creation for all business pursuits.
• Support the financial analysis and review of proposal costs, risks, and opportunities during cost & price reviews.
• Understand, communicate, and recommend cost and price strategies to achieve division growth targets.
• Work with proposal team to propose and negotiate preferred L3Harris customer payment terms.
• Assist in the team’s development of a business case to ensure a successful Price Review.
• Perform analyses or financial models to aid management understanding of how a proposal meets division goals.
• Prepare and analyze the financial structure of proposals, agreements, product plans or business plans including investments.
• Apply understanding of Revenue Recognition and P&L Forecasting.
