Job summary

Jobtailor in Massachusetts seeks a senior Pricing Analytics Lead to develop advanced analytical solutions for pricing decisions and to design executive dashboards. You will lead pricing transformation projects and govern pricing platforms, collaborating with IT and external vendors.

The role requires expert Excel, advanced Power BI, SQL/Snowflake, data modelling, and strong communication to guide cross-functional initiatives and mentor analysts. This is a full-time on-site position in MA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, CS, IS, Engineering, Finance, or Economics.
• 5+ years of experience in Pricing Analytics, Commercial Operations, BI, Sales Operations, Data Analytics, or Pricing Technology Administration.
• Expert-level Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced Power BI development.
• Advanced MS SQL and Snowflake experience.
• Data modelling and reporting architecture experience.
• Business requirements gathering experience.
• Dashboard and KPI development experience.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking capability.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to partner effectively across functions.
• Preferred: Python
• Preferred: Power Automate
• Preferred: Azure Data Services
• Preferred: ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
• Preferred: pricing/commercial systems such as Model N, Vendavo, Pricefx, Zilliant, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics CRM
• Ability to satisfy export licensing review requirements where applicable

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced analytical solutions supporting pricing and commercial decision-making
• Design and maintain executive dashboards and reporting solutions
• Perform complex analyses on large enterprise datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Lead pricing system enhancement projects and develop business requirements
• Partner with IT and external vendors on system implementations and improvements
• Support pricing platform governance and best practices
• Manage data extraction, transformation, and validation activities
• Design scalable reporting and data models
• Drive automation, data quality, and efficiency initiatives
• Lead cross-functional pricing transformation projects from requirements gathering through testing, deployment, and adoption
• Provide coaching and technical guidance to junior analysts
• Collaborate with Pricing, Sales Operations, Finance, IT, and external vendors
