Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California seeks a Pricing Specialist to provide cost/price detail for proposals, ROMs and task orders. You will apply JPL rates and tools, ensure audit readiness, and support engineering and business units in labor and subcontract estimating.

The role requires a bachelor’s in business (or related field) with 3+ years (or a master’s with 1 year), strong communication, and proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field with 3+ years of related experience; or Master's with 1 year of related experience.
• Broad knowledge in proposal pricing, cost estimating, BOE generation, and government contracting (FAR).
• Extensive understanding of principles, theories, concepts and techniques in proposal pricing and estimating for gov contracting, industry or academia.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to convey pricing concepts to both technical and business personnel.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Experience with ProPricer and in project reporting, contract administration, cost/schedule planning, and cost analysis.
• Knowledge of space mission systems/subsystems estimation and scheduling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide Laboratory-wide support for generating cost/price detail for proposals, ROMs, and related documents using JPL pricing tools and rates.
• Perform audit support and compliance reviews to ensure alignment with internal and Government regulations and basis of estimates.
• Support engineering and business functions to complete estimating for labor, materials, and subcontracted efforts in proposals and task orders.
• Perform cost analysis on subcontract proposals; participate in peer reviews and pricing product approvals; educate staff on cost estimation and pricing topics.
