J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. in Arkansas is seeking a Pricing Analyst I to support routine pricing for business accounts, maximizing profitability and asset utilization. You will apply the standard pricing model with guidance when needed.

Key duties include setting pricing aligned with objectives, collaborating with the pricing team, supporting bids with rate/volume data, and maintaining SOPs while building cross-functional relationships. 1–2 years in logistics, pricing, or finance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualification: High School Diploma or GED with 1-2 years of relevant transportation logistics, pricing, or finance experience, or comparable education/experience.
• Preferred Qualification: Bachelor's degree in transportation logistics, mathematics, economics, or related field with 1-2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Determine pricing consistent with company objectives as it relates to market rate and customer objectives
• Work with pricing team to support customer reviews, maintain market competitive pricing, and retain/expand business; consult with internal teams to understand customer requirements and market intelligence
• Support bid process by collecting/analyzing preliminary rate and volume data, and published accessorials relative to operational characteristics for actual cost and revenue trends
• Improve quality of revenue and yield management with leadership guidance
• Create and execute basic account strategies
• Build relationships with internal teams through consistent rapport
• Gain competency with tools to execute responsibilities and follow SOPs
• Perform other duties as assigned
