Job summary

HF Sinclair seeks a Pricing Analyst in Dallas, TX to analyze market trends, execute pricing strategies, and develop models to optimize revenue for products in the assigned region. You will drive daily price changes and advise senior management on opportunities and risks.

Five to eight years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or business are required, along with strong Excel and data visualization skills (Tableau, Power BI or MarketView).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business or related field required.
• 5–8 years of related work experience required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in data analysis tools such as Excel; experience with Tableau, MarketView or Power BI for data visualization.
• Understanding of pricing models and strategies; effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze market trends and determine competitive pricing strategies for wholesale products.
• Collect and review data on customer demand, costs and market conditions to develop pricing models.
• Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs and price sensitivities for tailored plans.
• Lead cross-functional teams across sales, marketing, supply and operations to align pricing with business goals.
• Create and manage pricing structures, including discounts, to support sales growth and margins.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings or increased profitability and recommend actions.
• Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes and economic indicators affecting pricing decisions.
• Monitor market price changes and adjust pricing strategies accordingly.
• Communicate pricing strategies and recommendations to senior management.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal teams, external vendors and customers.
