Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Pricing Analyst to join the PS&C Pricing & Estimating team. The role focuses on developing proposals for missile products, preparing cost data, and supporting audits and negotiations in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate should have pricing/finance experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally. On-site in Elkton, MD with potential consideration for other locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 6 years of related experience, or Bachelor's with 2+ years, or Master's with 0 years.
• Experience in pricing, finance, contracts, or business operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and government contracting regulations.

The selected candidate will become an integral part of the PS&C Pricing & Estimating team while supporting Missile products along with be tasked with providing guidance and support to the business unit activities. The ideal candidate will be proactive and have the ability work in a fast-paced environment. This position will be primarily located on-site in Elkton, MD but can be consider at other locations such as Rocket Center, WV; McLean, VA, or Linthicum, MD.Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Work in a team environment to develop proposals in response to customer requestsPrepare Proposals in compliance with applicable government regulations and internal policiesPresent proposal recommendations to managementPrepare certified cost and pricing data packagesSupport proposal audits and negotiations with customersThis position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80A. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine‑hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.Basic QualificationsPricing Analyst:High School Diploma or GED with 6 years of Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting or related experienceBachelor’s degree with 2+ years of Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting related experience - OR - a Master's degree with 0 years of Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting related experienceExperience in pricing, finance, contracts, business and/or business operations.Ability to prioritize effectively and complete work timely in a deadline driven environment.Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of tools/applications, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel.Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.Preferred Qualifications:Microsoft Office Suite: Advanced Excel skills is highly preferred.Prior Price Estimating experienceExperience with ProPricerExperience with Cost/Price AnalysisAnalytical SkillsPresentation skillsOrganizational/Time Management skills and ability to multitaskSelf-motivated and works well in team environmentKnowledge of FAR, DFARS, and other U.S. Federal Government contracting regulationsAbility to work in a dynamic, fast paced environmentPrimary Level Salary Range: $65,500.00 - $108,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
