Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Northridge, CA is seeking a Pricing Analyst to join the Advanced Weapons Business Unit Pricing & Estimating team. The selected candidate will support proposals, cost/price data, and negotiations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with related experience or a Master’s with minimal experience, strong Excel skills, and active DoD clearance. On-site work in Northridge, CA is expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 0 years of Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting related experience
• Experience in pricing, finance, contracts, business and/or business operations.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of tools/applications, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
• Must have Active DoD security clearance.

Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Pricing Analyst in our Business Management department. The selected candidate will become an integral part of the Advanced Weapons Business Unit Pricing & Estimating team while supporting Weapons Systems Division. The ideal candidate will be proactive and have the ability work in a fast-paced environment. This position will be located on-site in Northridge, CA.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Work in a team environment to develop proposals in response to customer requests
• Prepare Proposals in compliance with applicable government regulations and internal policies
• Present proposal recommendations to management
• Prepare certified cost and pricing data packages
• Support proposal audits and negotiations with customers

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80A. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine‑hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 6 years of Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting or related experience
• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting related experience - OR - a Master's degree with 0 years of Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting related experience
• Experience in pricing, finance, contracts, business and/or business operations.
• Ability to prioritize effectively and complete work timely in a deadline driven environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of tools/applications, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
• Must have Active DoD security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Office Suite: Advanced Excel skills is highly preferred.

• Experience with ProPricer

Primary Level Salary Range: $75,800.00 - $113,800.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
