Job summary

F&S Fresh Foods, headquartered in Vineland, NJ, is seeking a Pricing Analyst to shape pricing for fresh-cut fruit, vegetables, and meal solutions across the United States and Canada. You will analyze market trends, product costs, and competitor activity to build models that protect margins while staying competitive.

Collaborating with Finance, Production, Sales and Marketing, you’ll develop pricing tools, update models, and present findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or accounting field.
• 1–3 years in costing, pricing analysis, or market research.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and advanced Excel modeling.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research on pricing trends and competitor strategies.
• Analyze economic indicators and industry data to inform pricing.
• Collaborate with Finance and Production to analyze costs and adjust structure.
• Develop and update pricing models reflecting costs and market dynamics.
• Work with Sales and Marketing to implement competitive pricing.
• Monitor competitor pricing and recommend adjustments to stay competitive.
• Evaluate profitability impact of pricing changes and identify margin opportunities.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

What’s the Role

The Pricing Analyst plays a key role in shaping how F&S Fresh Foods prices its fresh-cut fruit, vegetables, and meal solutions for a growing customer base across the United States and Canada. Working closely with Finance, Production, Sales, and Marketing, you will analyze market trends, product costs, and competitor activity to build pricing models that keep us competitive while protecting our margins. As we expand our footprint, smart, data-driven pricing is essential to delivering real value to our customers and fueling our next chapter of growth. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem solver who enjoys digging into the numbers, turns complex data into clear recommendations, and is confident presenting findings to stakeholders at every level.

What You’ll Own

• Conduct market research on pricing trends, competitor strategies, and customer buying behavior
• Analyze economic indicators and industry data to inform pricing decisions
• Partner with Finance and Production to analyze product costs and recommend cost-structure adjustments
• Develop, maintain, and regularly update pricing models that reflect cost components, market dynamics, and business objectives
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to build and implement competitive pricing strategies
• Monitor competitor pricing activity and recommend adjustments to stay competitive
• Evaluate the profitability impact of pricing changes and identify opportunities to improve margins
• Present pricing analysis and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders

Requirements

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
• 1–3 years of experience in costing, pricing analysis, or market research
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and advanced Excel modeling
• Familiarity with ERP systems
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data and trends
• Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams and present findings to stakeholders
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in pricing models and analysis
• Proven problem-solving ability and sound business acumen, including an understanding of market dynamics and profitability drivers

Physical Demands:

Primarily office-based work that requires sitting and using a computer for extended periods; occasional walk-throughs of production and warehouse areas, which may be refrigerated.
