Job summary

TrakMotive is seeking a Pricing Analyst in Redlands, CA to support pricing operations, contract management, and margin improvement across product categories. You will translate data into actionable pricing insights, maintain pricing repositories, and ensure timely decisions for quotes and RFPs.

The role collaborates with Pricing, Sales, Product, and Finance teams, building scalable tools and dashboards. A fit candidate enjoys large datasets and developing an understanding of channel economics

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business, finance, economics, mathematics, data analytics, or related field.
• 0–4 years of pricing/analytics/finance experience or similar role.
• Proficiency with Excel and SQL (joins, aggregations, CTEs, Power Query, Power Pivot).
• Experience with Power BI and/or Tableau.
• Understanding of pricing concepts: margin, discounting, price realization, and competitive benchmarking.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of pricing strategy across customer channels, regions, and product categories.
• Maintain pricing models and program discount structures with guardrails and approval thresholds.
• Maintain pricing master data for data quality and consistency.
• Recommend pricing strategies aligned with market trends and identify new segments.

The Pricing Analyst will support the development and execution of pricing operations & contract management across customer segments and product categories. This role focuses on artefact documentation, analysis, and execution of pricing initiatives that improve margin, competitiveness, and price discipline. Working closely with the Pricing, Sales, Product, and Finance teams, this individual will translate data into actionable pricing insights, maintain pricing repository and reporting, and ensure accurate, timely pricing decisions across quoting, RFPs, and go-to-market initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of pricing strategy across customer channels, regions, and product categories
• Maintain pricing models, and program discount structures with clear guardrails and approval thresholds
• Maintain pricing master data ensuring data quality and consistency
• Recommend pricing strategies that align closely with market trends and identify new market segments.
• Ensure standardized and full documentation of customer contract terms
• Support RFP pricing and quoting with standardized templates, models, and inputs
• Monitor exception activity, and elevate risks and opportunities
• Assist with price change execution, audits, and post-implementation reviews
• Document pricing processes, assumptions, and methodologies
• Support ad-hoc pricing analyses and leadership reporting

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, mathematics, data analytics, or related field
