Job summary

The role involves auditing pricing, maintaining the JD Edwards Advanced Pricing System, processing PO confirmations and price variance reconciliations, and collaborating with vendors and internal teams.

Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting/Business preferred; strong detail-orientation and communication required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure 100% correct pricing for all stores.
• Verify and correct pricing on purchase orders, sales orders and credit orders; improve processes.
• Assist Pricing team in reviewing and analyzing financial and profitability reports with data.
• Conduct weekly pricing audits and maintain the JD Edwards Advanced Pricing System.
• Process PO confirmations, accounts payable, and price variance reconciliation.
• Investigate pricing errors with vendor, AP, customer, Co‑op or other partners and resolve them.
• Process daily data transmission documents from the Customer and work with multiple customers.
• Decide on accruals for Product Price Variances.
• Maintain SOPs and suggest improvements to management.
• Other duties may be assigned.

What you’ll do as a Pricing Analyst:

• Ensure 100% correct pricing for all stores.
• Verify and correct, if necessary, pricing on purchase order, sales order and credit orders. Improve Processes related to this as needed.

• Process purchase order confirmations, accounts payable, and product price variance reconciliation.
• Investigate with vendor, AP, Customer, Co-op or any other business partner when billing or pricing errors arise and resolve them.
• Process daily data transmission documents from the Customer. Be able to work with multiple customers with very different processes for this purpose.
• Make judgment call on what amount and when to accrue Product Price Variances.
• Responsible for maintaining up-to-date SOPs and suggesting improvements to management.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications you’ll bring as a Pricing Analyst:

• Have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Business field desired.
• Be detail-oriented, self motivated and organized.
• Have sound judgment and follow through since actions could have significant financial impact.
• Have excellent process improvement skills.
• Have good communication, time management and inter-personal skills.
• Be an independent thinker and find sound resolutions to daily issues that arise.
