Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a Financial Analyst to collaborate with lawyers, practice groups, marketing, and finance to price engagements and prepare RFP proposals. You will develop models to assess profitability for new business and assist in creating creative pricing solutions, including AFAs.

You will also help evaluate standard and national billing rates using benchmarking tools and internal analytics, ensuring pricing aligns with realized profitability targets.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Data Analytics.
• 3-5 years of experience as a financial analyst or in a comparable position in a law firm environment.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience with Excel is required, Power BI or Tableau a plus.
• Regular and predictable attendance, willingness to work beyond standard hours when needed.

• 3-5 years of experience as a financial analyst or in a comparable position in a law firm environment.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience with Excel is required, and experience with data analytics tools (such as Power BI or Tableau) is a plus.
• Regular and predictable attendance is a core requirement of this position, and candidates must be willing to work beyond standard scheduled hours when necessary to meet business needs.
