Job summary

Lowes Foods is seeking a detail-oriented team member to support pricing accuracy across DSD categories, perishables and ad items. This role also covers stocking and cashier duties as needed.

Candidates should demonstrate friendly service, strong math, and comfort using computers and store systems. The position may involve lifting and standing for long periods and collaboration with store teams.

• Update prices in register system and on shelf tags.
• Update shelf signage and discontinued item displays.
• Audit scan error logs and ensure price changes propagate to shelves.
• Perform as a stocker and as a cashier when needed.
• Carry out other duties assigned by management.

Responsibilities

• Verify/audit prices in DSD categories, MDI categories, Perishable departments and ad items.
• Update new prices in register system.
• Update new prices on shelf tags and signs.
• Update prices in the computer and on the shelf including displaying signs for discontinued items.
• Audit scan error logs.
• Ensure that all DSD price changes transmitted to the store are properly executed and shelf tags are printed and placed on the shelf (includes advertised and promotional items).
• Perform as a stocker.
• Perform as a cashier.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. occasionally and 15 lbs. constantly.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Knowledge of DSD/Scanning operations.
• Ability to work well with computers.
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Effective communication and guest service skills.
• Demonstrate excellent math skills.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.
