Job summary

The FairValue family stores in North Carolina are seeking a DSD Clerk to support our customers with accurate pricing and friendly service. You will verify prices in DSD categories, update shelf tags and signs, and ensure proper check-in procedures for each vendor.

This is a part-time role with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced grocery environment. Responsibilities include auditing weekly sale items, using a calculator, and communicating with the Manager on Duty to resolve price

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent, preferred.
• Knowledge of DSD/Scanning Operations.
• Basic computer knowledge.

POSITION SUMMARY: The DSD Clerk is responsible for providing quality customer service to our customers by accurate pricing of merchandise sold. The DSD clerk verifies and audits prices in DSD categories, MDI host categories, perishable departments and weekly sale items. Updates prices in the computer and register system in addition to all shelf tags and signs. Ensures proper FAIRVALUE check-in procedures are performed for each DSD vendor. Reports to Manager on Duty.

Schedule: up to 28 hours per week.

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge and Education

• High school graduation or equivalent, preferred.
• Knowledge of DSD/Scanning Operations.
• Basic computer knowledge

Skills and Abilities

• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Good people and customer interaction skills.
• Demonstrated attentiveness to details, mathematical analytical ability. Use of calculator.
