The candidate must be reliable, able to lift 25 lbs occasionally and 15 lbs constantly, and comfortable using computers and scanning systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee DSD vendor activities to ensure proper receiving of product.
• Maintain daily receiving and discrepancy log.
• Update system files as needed and back-up receiving clerk training.
• Report discrepancies or pricing problems to supervisor and Pricing Dept.
• Maintain neat receiving area and follow damage reclaim procedures.
• Perform stocker and cashier duties as assigned, and follow security policies.

Overview

To ensure product being delivered by vendors is properly received, priced and accounted for.

To ensure product being delivered by vendors is properly received, priced and accounted for.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the DSD vendor activities to assure proper and accurate receiving of product.
• Maintain a daily DSD receiving and discrepancy log.
• Update the system files as needed.
• Ensure that a back-up receiving clerk is always trained and available.
• Report any discrepancies or pricing problems immediately to a supervisor and to the Pricing Department at the Lowes Foods Corporate Office.
• Maintain a neat and organized receiving area.
• Handle all damaged merchandise according to Damage Reclaim procedures.
• Follow all security and shrink procedures.
• Perform as a stocker.
• Perform as a cashier.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
