Job summary

Wasatch Labs in Utah seeks a production associate to verify, weigh and document raw materials, maintain product temperatures, and prepare pallets with batch IDs in a fast-paced setting. The role requires a high school diploma and at least 1 year in a production environment, with strong knowledge of GMP, FDA and HACCP standards.

Lift up to 50 pounds and operate scales and pallet jacks as part of daily tasks.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English.
  • Knowledge of GMP, FDA and HACCP standards for dietary supplement manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Taks
  • Accurately verify, identify and document raw materials.
  • Properly weigh out raw materials to prevent errors and scrap.
  • Return containers with accurate report of physical weigh
  • Sustain temperatures of products during the weight out process.
  • Clean equipment according to the applicable SOPs.
  • Accurately kit and warp pallets with batch identification
3. Quality and Compliance
  • Comply with FDA, GMP, HACCP standards for dietary supplements and all other identity preserved requirements.
  • Complete all paperwork, logs, and checks with accuracy and completeness.
  • Follow deviations and communicate with leadership to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Maintain a clean and workable area.
4. Safety and Maintenance
  • Follow safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Identify potential safety hazards and incidents then report them as required.
  • Verify equipment that is marked out of service and do not use them.
  • Properly operate equipment in designated areas.
5. Process Improvement
  • Report facts, problems and setbacks to leadership.
  • Record accurately in all documentation
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate orally and in written preferably in English.
  • A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
Skills and Competencies
  • Strong understanding of GMP, FDA, and HACCP standards for dietary supplement manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in operating scales, pumps and other required equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
  • Ability to perform basic math functions.
  • Ability to operate an electric pallet jack.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive motions.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Comfortable working in areas with noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures.
  • Ability to attend work and be punctual.
  • Ability to talk, hear stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to use hands or fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls
Work Environment:

This role operates in a dietary supplement production facility with strict adherence to quality and safety standards. The schedule may include shifts, weekends, and overtime to meet production demands.
