Job summary

Whataburger is seeking a Preventative Restaurant Maintenance Technician to keep our restaurants running safely and reliably. You will perform scheduled maintenance on HVAC, refrigeration, and kitchen systems, identify issues, and support timely repairs across multiple locations.

You will ensure work orders are completed accurately and on time, using mobile work order systems. This field-based role requires full-time availability, travel within the assigned market, and strong teamwork with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Whataburger MVR standards.
• Experience with HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to travel locally and long distances.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Complete routine maintenance tasks, service calls, and cosmetic repairs to maintain brand standards.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial kitchen and facility equipment.
• Maintain parts inventory and keep a clean, organized work area.
