Homeland Inc. is seeking a dedicated Preventive Maintenance Technician to join our PM team and perform yearly preventive maintenance at our Leitchfield, KY properties.

The role requires climbing ladders and working on roofs, with training provided and a focus on safety. A high school diploma is required, plus 1+ year maintenance experience preferred; relocation may be needed.

Responsibilities

Preventive Maintenance Technician - Full-Time Position Available

Homeland Inc. is seeking a dedicated Preventive Maintenance Technician to join our PM team.

This full-time role will focus primarily on yearly preventative maintenance at our properties including: cleaning dryer vents, cleaning gutters, other preventative maintenance duties as needed for apartment complexes located in Leitchfield, KY.

Schedule: 40 hours per week, with potential on-call responsibilities as needed after hours/ weekends. This will be a position managed by the Maintenance Department.

Responsibilities:

• Position requires working from ladders and being on one- and two-story roofs. (Applicants must not be afraid of heights and should feel comfortable climbing ladders and working safely on rooftops. Training and proper safety procedures are always provided.
• Perform general maintenance and repairs on apartment buildings and property grounds.
• Conduct basic fixes to equipment and building systems to ensure functionality and cleanliness.
• Utilize hand and electrical tools safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret technical manuals and drawings, following directions accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.

Ideal Candidate:

• Reliability and attention to detail are essential.
• Some maintenance experience and technical knowledge preferred.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems (preferred but not required).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
