Job summary

Circle K is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Technician to service Victorville, CA and surrounding areas. You will troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance on equipment, as well as light electrical, plumbing and carpentry tasks.

The role requires clean driving record and the ability to work under tight deadlines. Candidates should have 3–5 years in maintenance or more, 1–2 years in plumbing/HVAC, and be proficient with MS Office tools.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
3-5 years’ experience in maintenance field or more preferred.
1-2 years’ experience in plumbing or HVAC/refrigeration preferred.
Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and be insurable as a driver.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple changing priorities and ability to work independently.
Highly organized and work well under pressure/deadlines with the ability to multi-task.
Must be computer literate in MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Responsibilities

Maintains equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning and performing preventative maintenance.
Maintains facilities by performing light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, roofing, cleaning, lighting.
Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs.
Ensures preventative repairs are performed cost effectively by examining records, reports operating practices and other documentation.
Participate in training classes for existing and new equipment.
Ensures maintenance operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing program, operation policies and procedures.
