Job summary

Eco Material Technologies, a CRH Company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to inspect, maintain, and repair machinery and systems in a manufacturing facility in New Jersey. You will help ensure equipment runs efficiently, minimize downtime, and prevent costly breakdowns.

You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and work with both electrical and mechanical systems. Proficiency in MS Office and strong teamwork are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must follow safety protocols and adhere to company safety standards.
• Technical expertise of mechanical and electrical systems; problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to diagnose issues with equipment and systems by using diagnostic tools, observing symptoms, and testing components.
• Skilled in use of a wide range of hand and power tools.
• Adaptable and willing to learn and multi-task; proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to collaborate with coworkers and solve complex problems; stay updated with maintenance techniques.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety policies and procedures.
• Inspect machinery, equipment, and systems for proper operation; perform routine checks.
• Perform preventive maintenance to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment life.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues using tools and expertise.
• Perform repairs or replace parts as needed.
• Work with electrical and mechanical systems within the facility.
• Respond to emergency repair requests to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and inventory.
• Generate and close work orders in the system; may be on-call.
