We assist children and families navigating foster care, support struggling families with conflict and poverty, empower individuals with developmental disabilities, and provide access to quality health and mental health services. Our programs adopt a whole-person, whole-family, and whole-life approach to unlock lifelong solutions.

The Foundling has served people with developmental disabilities since 1974, initially focusing on children and expanding to all ages, including elders with developmental disabilities. Our Developmental Division aims to empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live as they choose, engaging actively in the community through supported residential options, health services, meaningful activities, and employment opportunities.

  • Review current research and publications to develop relevant, modern, and innovative training curricula and workshop content.
  • Support inter-departmental and agency initiatives to promote growth and resilience.
  • Participate in professional development activities, including coaching, conferences, workshops, and agency trainings, to enhance skills and support growth.
