The Foundling has served people with developmental disabilities since 1974, initially focusing on children and expanding to all ages, including elders with developmental disabilities. Our Developmental Division aims to empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live as they choose, engaging actively in the community through supported residential options, health services, meaningful activities, and employment opportunities.
Working alongside a second Prevention Specialist, each Prevention Specialist will deliver abuse prevention, health, and safety messaging to 10,000 students annually. They will also facilitate training sessions for school professionals, parents, and community members.
Salary Range: $55,000 - $59,000
