Job summary

Washington State University seeks an Extension Coord - DBHR Prevention Fellow to support substance use prevention and mental health promotion across statewide coalitions. You will work with WSU researchers, DBHR staff, and community members to develop programs, provide technical assistance, and help deliver trainings and presentations.

The role is hybrid with in-person work in Olympia, WA, and offers opportunities to engage in contracted work, statewide initiatives, and collaborative policy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and two years of related program experience required.
• Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Proficient in Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support contracts and statewide initiatives for prevention programs.
• Collaborate with researchers and staff to develop educational programs.
• Provide technical assistance to communities focused on wellness.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, trainings, and conference materials.
• Coordinate with partners to advance prevention and health promotion efforts.
