Job summary

Washington State University (WSU) Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery is seeking an Advanced Prevention Fellowship to support SUD prevention and MH promotion efforts. The hybrid role includes regular in-person work at the Olympia, WA office and collaboration with DBHR staff and community Coalitions.

The Fellow will disseminate evidence-based programs, contribute to training, evaluation, and project work across multiple prevention domains, with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and three years of related experience; substitutions allowed on a year-for-year basis.
• Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule during the week.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent organizational and project management abilities.
• Proficiency with Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support prevention program implementation and coordination across state and community partners.
• Assist in developing educational materials and training for diverse audiences.
• Coordinate/monitor projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality documentation.
